To outrank someone, pay $1 more than their total
Rank is determined by each listing's total cumulative bid, highest first. To take a spot above another listing, your new total must be at least $1 higher than theirs.
Raises only charge the difference
Already listed? You never pay the full amount again — you only pay the gap between your current total and your new target total.
Ties go to the earlier listing
If two listings ever hold the same total, the one listed first keeps the higher rank.
